Usernames and passwords for eCMS sites are maintained both in the web-based shopping cart's administration area as well as CMS.

Contents

CommerceV3

CommerceV3 stores have at least one account with full access to the entire store, and may have other accounts with varying levels of access.

The primary account's password must be changed at least once every 90 days. To do this, you must first change the password in your CV3 admin, then input the new password into CMS. Failure to enter the new password in CMS will prevent CMS from being able to connect to the CommerceV3 web services including downloading orders and uploading order status.

If you do not know your current password, or need it manually reset for any reason, contact eCMS Support and we will be happy to assist you.

Updating your CV3 password

  1. Go the CV3 merchant login site.
  2. Enter your current username and password.
  3. In the left nav menu, click Change Password.
  4. Enter your current password, a new password, confirm your new password, and add a password hint/reminder.
    • Your password must be at least 7 characters long and contain at least one number or symbol.
    • The password hint is what will be emailed to you if you forget your password and use the "Forgot my password?" link on the login page.
  5. Click Change Password.
